October 2016–5 sessions

With Jesus is a study that will take us all over the Bible.  We will begin in the gospel of John, where we see Jesus exploding onto the earth and bringing grace and truth to humanity.  From there, we will see how He interacted and taught His friends, the disciples, who ended up turning the world upside-down as they embraced the rhythms that He taught them.
“When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.” (Acts 4:13 NIV)

Jesus goes on to promise in Matthew 11:28: “I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
